DAS 60th Annual Exhibition
Our Annual Exhibition took place on the weekend of Friday 20th October 2023 at Dalkey Town Hall.
There were a total of 162 paintings at the exhibition, arranged according to theme by curator Tony Strickland. Despite the weekend beginning with an orange weather warning and non-stop rain, over 700 art lovers came to see our work over the course of the weekend.

DAS member Lynn Kennedy, put our members through their paces at her recent portraiture workshop at Knockrose
Róisín Cunningham workshop
DAS members were invited to take part in a life drawing workshop with artist Roisín Cunningham in July at Dun Laoghaire golf club, in a room overlooking the Sugarloaf mountain.
Knockrose Gardens 2023
At our most recent paint-out at Knockrose Gardens, we were initially disappointed to see the rain lash down in the morning but our members remained unphased. We watched as they changed their perspective, found novel views, engineered solutions, and celebrated the present moment. The sun came out and the results were glorious.
Colin Eaton Workshop
A fun workshop exploring the technique of collage through a process of play and discovery, with architect and collage expert Colin Eaton
