DAS Annual Exhibition 2024
Our Annual Exhibition took place on the weekend of Friday 18th October 2024 at Dalkey Town Hall opened by acclaimed Irish artist, Mary Burke.
There were over 200 paintings at the exhibition, arranged according to theme by curator Tony Strickland. Over 900 art lovers came to see our work over the course of the weekend.

Art in Sandymount - “Early Days”
This Club was co-founded by a very charming, old world lady of the time - Miss Dorothy Armstrong - who later, was to give unstintingly of her time and energies to make the Club a success.
Originally, the Club was the brain child of Kenneth Webb, who runs the Irish School of Landscape Painting and is himself a true Professional.

DAS 60th Annual Exhibition
Our Annual Exhibition took place on the weekend of Friday 20th October 2023 at Dalkey Town Hall.
There were a total of 162 paintings at the exhibition, arranged according to theme by curator Tony Strickland. Despite the weekend beginning with an orange weather warning and non-stop rain, over 700 art lovers came to see our work over the course of the weekend.

DAS members were invited to take part in a life drawing workshop with artist Roisín Cunningham in July at Dun Laoghaire golf club, in a room overlooking the Sugarloaf mountain.

Knockrose Gardens 2023
At our most recent paint-out at Knockrose Gardens, we were initially disappointed to see the rain lash down in the morning but our members remained unphased. We watched as they changed their perspective, found novel views, engineered solutions, and celebrated the present moment. The sun came out and the results were glorious.
