DAS Annual Exhibition 2024
Our Annual Exhibition took place on the weekend of Friday 18th October 2024 at Dalkey Town Hall. Our show was opened by acclaimed Irish artist, Mary Burke.
There were over 200 paintings at the exhibition, representing 60 of our artists, and arranged according to theme by curator Tony Strickland. Over 900 art lovers came to see our work over the course of the weekend.
Our raffle painting, donated generously by Paul Kavanagh, raised a whopping €1600 for the Laura Lynn Children’s Hospice* and was won by art lover, Francesca Devany Thank you Paul!
Our member’s painting competition “dust to dawn” was sponsored by Appleton Framing of Stillorgan. Judged by Mary Burke and won by artist Annie Shaw. Second place went to Theresa Wordingham.
It was lovely to see so many people connect over their love of art.
